- Well, I've only been charged $25 for each upgrade of Final Writer.
- Win95 users of are being charged $25 to get the "full" version of
- Final Writer. The only thing Win95 users are getting out of it is
- that they don't have to make the initial $100 or so payment on the

- (in North America anyway) for the last couple of years. Their

- My opinion for the reason for the existance of a Win95 version of
- Final Writer is that Softwood is hedging its bet that Amiga users
- will stay Amiga users and that AT will succeed. I suspect that
- the majority of Amiga users who have jumped ship (at least all the
- ones I know or know about) have gone to Win3.1/Win95. Softwood
- could be making an attempt to retain their customer base by
- releasing their flagship product to the platform that Amiga users
- are most likely to jump to.
